This document will walk you through how to activate an ingredient that has already been created.
1. Go to Menu Planning> Ingredients> Stock Item #. Enter a Stock Item and click Apply.
2. Click on the Ingredient Code that is hyperlinked with the Stock Item
3. Under the General tab you will see an Is Active Checkbox. Make sure it is checked.
4. If the Menu Item is not checked as Is Active, you will see the following in the Menu Item Quick View and the description will be red.
5. The description will no longer be red now that the ingredient is marked active.
