This document will you through how to configure a device for your POS Machine.
1. Double click on the POS Icon to launch the software, but do not log in.
2. Once the log in window opens up, click on the “Device” button on the top right hand corner:
3. This will open the “Device Configuration Wizard” for you - then you’ll proceed to
- Click on Modify Configuration to remove any existing data regarding keypads
- Click on Next to proceed with installing the configuration software
4. Unplug any keypads/pin pads/scanners that are attached to the machine, and once they’re unplugged, click “Next”
5. Click Add Device
6. Register the Device, and then click Next.
6. Choose whether this is a single serving line or a dual serving line (one device or two?)
7. After you click the “Add Device” button, it will ask you to input a number from the keypad – using the keypad, enter 3 or 4 random numbers, and then click the Enter key on the device.
You will then have another button to “Set Configuration” – and then you’ll click the “Next” button.
It will ask you if you have another pin pad, and then it will walk you through those steps to configure a second pin pad.
If you do not have a second pin pad, you’ll be able to click the “Finish” button.
