The Command Center empowers Districts to make decisions on the industry KPIs. These KPIs can be viewed at the District, School Type, and School levels.
District Level Section
The District Level section shows the various Key Performance Indicators such as Program Access, Breakfast Participation, Average Daily Participation (ADP) – Breakfast, Lunch Participation, Average Daily Participation (ADP) – Lunch, Meal Equivalent (MEQ), and Total Revenue for the entire District.
School Type Section
The School Type section shows the various Key Performance Indicators such as Program Access, Breakfast Participation, Breakfast ADP, Lunch Participation, Lunch ADP, Meal Equivalent, and Total Revenue for the School Type.
You can click the Download icon to export this information as an Excel file.
Schools Section
The Schools section shows each school's various Key Performance Indicators, such as Program Access, Breakfast Participation, Breakfast ADP, Lunch Participation, Lunch ADP, Meal Equivalent, and Total Revenue for each School.
You can use the Name and Type fields to search for specific schools.
You can click the Download icon to export this information as an Excel file.
Program Access
The Program Access card represents the percentage of students enrolled in Free, Reduced, and Paid eligibility categories.
The total percentage below represents students enrolled in the Free and Reduced eligibility categories.
Hover over the threshold bar to view the actual values achieved versus the target threshold set.
You can click on the total percentage to view a breakdown of the student counts and percentages over the Free, Reduced, and Paid eligibility categories as well as the Total.
You can use the Quick Links to navigate to the other front office modules to view the transactions represented on these counts.
Breakfast Participation
The Breakfast Participation card represents the overall percentage of students participating in breakfast under the Free, Reduced, and Paid eligibility categories.
These percentages are calculated based on the Total Number of Meals Served ÷ Total Number of Operating Days ÷ Total Number of Students Enrolled × 100.

Average Daily Participation – Breakfast
The Average Daily Participation – Breakfast card represents the overall percentage of students participating in breakfast under the Free, Reduced, and Paid eligibility categories.
The average meal count is calculated based on the Number of Breakfast Meals Served in a Month ÷ Number of Operating Days in a Month.
The percentage rate is calculated based on the Average Meal Count ÷ Average Daily Attendance.

Lunch Participation
The Lunch Participation card represents the overall percentage of students participating in lunch under the Free, Reduced, and Paid eligibility categories.
These percentages are calculated based on the Total Number of Meals Served ÷ Total Number of Operating Days ÷ Total Number of Students Enrolled × 100.

Average Daily Participation – Lunch
The Average Daily Participation – Lunch card represents the overall percentage of students participating in lunch under the Free, Reduced, and Paid eligibility categories.
The average meal count is calculated based on the Number of Lunch Meals Served in a Month ÷ Number of Operating Days in a Month.
The percentage rate is calculated based on the Average Meal Count ÷ Average Daily Attendance.

Meal Equivalent
The Meal Equivalent card can be used as a productivity and financial performance benchmark.
This is calculated based on the Meal Type × Conversion Factor. This information is defined in the Accountability Dashboard.

You can click on the total Meal Equivalent count to view a breakdown of the meal counts, the conversion factors which derive the Meal Equivalent count, and the Total. The conversion factors can be modified via the Accountability Dashboard.

Total Revenue
The Total Revenue card represents the total revenue generated under the Reimbursable and Non-Reimbursable meal categories.
Hover over the threshold bar to view the actual values achieved versus the target threshold set.
You can click on the total revenue amount to view the breakdown of revenue by Meal and A La Carte categories as well as the Total Revenue.

Show Visualization
You can click the Show Visualization toggle switch to enable a pie chart view of each KPI’s details.
Once enabled, a PRINT PREVIEW button appears, allowing you to export the District summary versus the School Type summary information.
Show areas requiring attention
You can click the Show areas requiring attention checkbox to view schools not meeting two or more KPIs threshold values.
A red warning symbol represents a school that requires attention.
Legend
The Legend at the top of the page represents the District, School Types, and School performance against the defined threshold.
- Dark green represents Excellent/High
- Light green represents Good/Expected
- Amber represents Fair
- Red represents Low
Threshold Settings
The Threshold Settings represent the targets set for the District, School Types, and Schools to check their performance against the defined threshold.
You can set the threshold at the District, School Type, or School level.
Enter the values in each field as needed, and the percentages will automatically change.
Click the SAVE button to retain information.
Threshold Settings are set yearly.
The threshold bar in the KPI section represents the threshold that was set.
Command Center Filters
The Command Center Filters allow you to view different date ranges of information.
The last ten years of the historical data range are available.
KPI Reports
The KPI Reports page allows you to run reports on different date ranges based on the Report Type selection.
To access the KPI Reports, navigate to Insights > Front Office > KPI Reports.
KPI Reports can be run for a specific Region (e.g., District), Site Type (e.g., High School), or Site (e.g., School). You can do this by clicking the Select a Site(s) dropdown.
The Monthly Report allows you to extract the monthly trends of KPIs seen in the Command Center, such as Program Access, Breakfast and Lunch Participation, Average Daily Participation for Breakfast and Lunch, Meal Equivalent, and Revenue.
If the Monthly Report Type is selected, the Date dropdown will allow you to select date ranges such as the Year To Date, Academic Year to Date, and Custom Date Range.
The Weekly Report allows you to extract the weekly trends of KPIs seen in the Command Center, such as Program Access, Breakfast and Lunch Participation, Average Daily Participation for Breakfast and Lunch, Meal Equivalent, and Revenue.
If the Weekly Report Type is selected, the Date dropdown will allow you to select date ranges such as the Current Month, Last Month, and Custom Date Range.
The KPI’s dropdown allows you to select the desired KPIs to be included in the report, such as Program Access and Breakfast Participation.
