This document will walk you through how to set purchase restrictions on a child's account. 


From the Dashboard, click “Purchase Restrictions” under the name of the child your wish to set them for.


A parent can select to NOT allow cash and/or debit a la carte purchases. However, these will only take effect on the days check marked off. 



 

Parents can also select for their student to only purchase a limited amount of a la carte items per day. NOTE: If the day is checked to NOT allow the purchase of Cash or Debit items, then NO a la carte items can be purchased, regardless of the number entered on the “Items Per Day” tab.




 

Parents can also set a maximum spending amount for A La Carte purchases.





In addition to this, parents can now leave special instructions that will pop up on the POS machine every time they are pulled up. ie “Don’t allow him to buy food for friends,” etc… NOTE: This is NOT a replacement for providing allergens. If this student has allergies, please contact your school with the appropriate documentation (if you have not already done so). If you feel like these instructions are not being followed closely, please contact the school.





When restrictions are set, click “Save Restrictions.” Please remember the data still needs time to update onto the PrimeroEdge website then flow down to the POS machines.
